so my first wedding cake was for my friend who i have known practically forever. so this was my first weding cake and the first cake i had done with fondant. neeedless to say, i ran ito quite a few problems. but i learned from my mistakes and was able to fix the ones that i could.
my favorite mistake was when i was putting the fondant on the cakes the filling started oozing out of it leaving a mess on the table.
because this cake was outside, the heat made the fondant start to melt and the cake was leaning by the time the couple cut it.
as the picture shows, it came out amazing. i have to say, that i was impressed with the job that i did.
